Read moreThe Department of Mechanical Engineering under TARG - SAE organized a One day seminar on ‘FUELS AND EMISSION CONTROL STRATEGIES’ on 12th April 2019.
The chief guest Mr. V. SENJEEVKUMAR, Sourcing Executive, Isuzu Engineering Business India PVT Ltd, Chennai was welcomed by Prof. L. Prabhu, Head – Department of Mechanical Engineering. The chief guest was introduced by Mr. N. Shivakumar, Asst. Professor (Gr.-II), Department of Mechanical Engineering. Nearly 63 students participated in the seminar.
The students had an interactive session with the expert and the following contents were discussed.
The seminar was conducted for the awareness of emission control as per Environmental Protection Agency norms in Automotive sector. The Students interacted with the guest regarding Fuel Properties and its combustion quality, emission control technologies, engine modification required with the specific fuel used and safety precautions with the respective fuel.
